Vivi e' il nuovo video dei casino royale. un progetto molto diverso da come siamo abituati a concepire solitamente i video musicali.
Gia' con i due video precedenti, "Io e la mia ombra" e sopratutto "Ogni uomo una radio" avevamo cercato di varcare i confini del filmato promozionale della canzone per entrare in un terreno nuovo, in cui la musica e le immagini creassero qualcosa di piu' vicino al cinema.
Con vivi abbiamo fatto le cose in grande da questo punto di vista. abbiamo realizzato un piccolo film indipendente: 3 storie di fiction, 3 protagonisti, 3 citta' si intrecciano parallelamente in un unico racconto corale in cui tutti i personaggi sono legati con un doppio filo. le azioni dell'uno si ripercuotono sull'altro, cambiandone i destini e gli avvenimenti.
Anche gli artisti sono perfettamente inseriti in questo contesto narrativo, responsabili e portatori di una sorta di misticismo metropolitano tanto ascetico quanto positivo che crea un collante continuo importante per ilo sviluppo di tutte le storie.
L'originalita' del progetto risiede nel suo essere modulare. vivi e' tanto un videoclip per le televisioni, quanto un "cortometraggio" con 3 finali diversi per il web. ma vivi sara' anche un mediometraggio per i festival di cinema.
Anche le durate del progetto sono tuttaltro che standard. il video con i finali sara' della durata di circa 25 minuti. la versione cinematografica oltre la mezzora.
Musicalmente si puo' parlare davvero di novita': il video presenta contemporaneamente il brano vivi+ 3 differenti remix ad opera di giovani artisti della Redbull Music Academy opportunemente riutilizzati in fase di editing come dei veri e propri scores cinematografici. e poi la presenza in tutti i formati del video di dialoghi di presa diretta dei protagonisti del video, restituisce al video un carattere del tutto unico.
Il progetto e' stato realizzato da un ristrettissimo team di persone, in cui ognuno ha ricoperto piu' di un ruolo, in giro per l'italia nelle peggiori (metereologicamente) due settimane degli ultimi 28 anni.
Vivi e' stata per tutti un'esperienza indimenticabile ed unica, grazie anche ad uno dei brani piu' belli ed importanti ce ci sia mai capitato di ascoltare.
